Professor and Chair of Music at Know College, Maestro Bruce Polay is also the Music Director/Conductor of the Knox-Galesburg Symphony.

As professor and music chair at Knox College, Polay teaches courses in music theory, music history, and composition. He also serves as artistic director and award-winning conductor of the Knox-Galesburg Symphony, a position he's held since 1983. He is also a prolific composer whose works have been commissioned by celebrated orchestras and institutions, and has a growing catalog of published works. His skills as a pianist and guest conductor keep him in demand around the world.
