What do I get when I donate to the Auction?

$1,000 & UP = "BIG BOARD"

a WTVP-produced on-air spot showcasing your item. It will run on WTVP prior to and during the Auction and will be seen by both WTVP's regular viewers and Auction audiences.

$1,000 & UP = "VIP Donor"

VIP Donors are those who donate multiple items with a total value of more than $1,000. VIP Donors will benefit from the airing of unique promotional spots prior to the Auction and other forms of promotion throughout the Auction.
Receive special recognition as a donor for multiple items with a total value of more than $1,000. (Example: 3 items with individual valued of $350) As a VIP Donor, your business will receive a special on-air spot aired ten prior to the auction, as well as special VIP Donor promotion online, in print and on-air throughout the Auction. VIP Donor items will appear on the Tonight, Feature, or Lightning Boards that coincide with the individual item's value.

$500 - $999 = "TONIGHT BOARD"

at least two on-air showings of merchandise PLUS four on-air promotions of your company
full scripts read on air by auctioneers, including item description, donor and location

$150 - $499 = "FEATURE BOARD"

on-air showings of merchandise
two on-air promotions of business and merchandise including item description, donor, and location

$50 - $149 = "LIGHTNING BOARD"

on-air showings of merchandise

LESS THAN $50

for on-air exposure, items must have a value of at least $50. Items under $50 will be accepted and sold in WTVP's off-air auction.

WTVP is a 501 (c) (3) corporation and therefore your donation may be deducted to the full extent of the law. Please contact your tax consultant. WTVP reserves the right to package items to satisfy the minimum dollar requirement. All donations become the property of the WTVP 47 Auction.

WTVP has developed a wish list of auction merchandise that sells well and gets lots of bidding action. Your business can select one of the items listed below or one that best represents your business. You may also become a cash contributor.

Showcase your talent by creating a work of art for the WTVP Auction or donating a piece from your collection. WTVP will promote your artwork on-air as well as through our special Auction Preview in early April.

ANTIQUES

Donate collectibles and antiques that represent your special merchandise and collections from the past. Your business will gain exposure through pre-auction displays and on-air presentations.

SPECIALTY / CELEBRITY / TRAVEL

WTVP accepts donations that are unique or one-of-a-kind items. National & local autographed celebrity items are very popular as well as vacations & getaways.

Any other special donation opportunities?

FOUR STAR / DAILY DOUBLE

Gain extra exposure by donating items or services (identical or varied) each evening of the Auction. Receive special recognition indicating your business supports WTVP as a "Four Star" donor; one for each evening, or as a "Daily Double" donor; with two presentations each evening.

MULTIPLES

This promotional opportunity is designed to maximize limited budgets. Your business may donate 2 - 4 identical items or services for on-air presentation.

(Example: 3 @ $25 = $75)

GAVEL BREAKERS

Your business will receive exclusive on air promotion by donating 10 - 20 identical items or certificates to be auctioned in a clever 1-to-2-minute presentation format.
