Heee's back. Sherlock Holmes, that is. Benedict Cumberbatch returns this month in new adventures of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic sleuth, Sherlock Holmes.

WTVP has become the place in Central Illinois to find exceptional mystery programs that test your wits and keep you guessing. This contemporary version of the ageless detective puts a slightly different spin on the characters. Moriarty is more evil, Dr. Watson less bumbling, the crimes seem "ripped from the headlines", but reliance on the applied science of deduction to solve crimes remains constant. Great mind benders like Poirot, Inspector Lewis, and now Sherlock, are made possible on MASTERPIECE MYSERY! by the contributions of viewer like you. Thank you.

For many years now, Public Television stations and PBS have been educating and entertaining children on air and online with PBS Kids. You expect that from us and we are happy to deliver. But now we have something especially designed for the over fifty set. Starting this month, WTVP is proud to premiereNext Avenue, a website completely devoted to those of us who are entering a new and exciting phase of our life. Connecting through our website, wtvp.org, you will be able to log on to information that is useful to you including, lifestyle, health, finance, education and entertainment, and much more. Please check it out when it comes on line on May 15, and let us know what you think. I hope you find it interesting, valuable - and fun.

As always, thank you for your constant support. WTVP can't exist without you..
