Colleen RunkleYou will notice that the usual photo of me and my good friends Elmo and Ernie has been replaced this month. That is because it is my great pleasure to introduce to you Colleen Runkle, the new Director of Development here at WTVP.

While she is new to the WTVP family, she is a longtime Peorian, who many of you have probably met through her many community ties. Colleen received her Bachelor of Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University and her Masters of Arts from Bradley University.

Colleen has over 20 years' experience in fund development, business development and working with volunteers and volunteer boards. Her professional experience includes serving as the Director of Annual Giving at Bradley University, Development Associate at Catholic Charities and in Business Development at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, working primarily with the neuroscience service line. Over the past year, Colleen has facilitated many physician education, networking and business development events throughout the OSF Ministry.

Along the way, Colleen took a hiatus from her career in fund and business development to start a window treatment business, volunteer, raise her children and watch lots of Arthur and Sesame Street! She has been very active with Junior League of Peoria, previously serving as president; St. Vincent de Paul church and school, serving as president of the guild; Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity and Peoria Notre Dame High School.

She is a past recipient of the 40 Leaders Under 40 award. In her free time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her children, exercising, gardening and enjoying all the great things our community has to offer.

I believe that you will find her a great addition to the WTVP team and hope you will welcome her into our public television family, just like Elmo, Ernie and I have.
