WTVP was pleased to premiere our latest documentary last month to rave reviews. From Distilleries to Stills: Prohibition in Peoria is a perfect example of our commitment to great storytelling. The film is informative, entertaining, and brings local history into national context. If you didn't catch the premiere, I encourage you to tune in and enjoy it either April 7 or 21 at 8 p.m. on WTVP World Channel 47.2.

The top story in the national news is the election. WTVP continues to give you access through our on-going news and public affairs programs, new series POTUS, and the online tool, Voter's Edge Illinois. For local context on the big picture, look to our own At Issue. If you missed our special edition on the impact of current political rhetoric on the campaign, a civil discussion with Former Congressman and Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood, State Senator Dave Koehler and Frank Mackaman of the Dirksen Congressional Center, you can stream it online at wtvp.org/atissue.

Coming up next month, we continue the story of America's favorite pastime with a new feature by local filmmaker Chris Zobac and Peoria's Sunday Morning League. There Will Be Baseball tells the story of 100 years of our nation's oldest continuing amateur baseball league.

We're looking forward to the stories of great finds and good times that come out of this year's WTVP Auction. Make plans to watch, bid and buy April 21-24.
