Why Become a Member of WTVP?

When you become a member of WTVP, you ensure that quality, educational television programs will continue in your community. Your membership contribution is pooled with contributions from over 8,000 other members from throughout Central Illinois to help WTVP acquire programs like Sesame Street, The NewsHour with Jim Leher, Mystery, Masterpiece Theatre and many more. Your dollars also help us produce local programs like At Issue with H Wayne Wilson and Illinois Adventure with Jim Wilhelm.

For more than 30 years WTVP has been a positive force in Central Illinois. You and your family have trusted us to bring you the best programs that educate, enlighten, and entertain. We can continue doing so only because of the generosity and active membership of viewers like you.

And the best is yet to come. Your membership support provides WTVP with the wherewithal to develop programming for the new digital WTVP Channel 46 that will target your specific program interests and wants. Your membership dollars allow your public station to take advantage of the new technologies and to assure that more and better programming is available when you and your family are ready top receive it.
