Peoria, IL - When the Peoria Art Guild and WTVP hosted a preview screening of an episode of Art in the Twenty-First Century last month, a lively discussion about contemporary art and its place in our community was started. Students, artists, patrons and WTVP viewers all came together to share ideas, insights and their differing perspectives.
To continue the dialogue, WTVP and The Peoria Art Guild will be partnering throughout the winter to bring more Art:21 to Central Illinois. The evenings will feature screenings of further episodes of Art in the Twenty-first Century followed by panel discussions led by local artists and educators. Everyone is welcome.
