Books for Kids!

Donate a book and help a local child discover the world reading!

The Holiday Book Drive is going on now at Barnes & Noble and WTVP’s Books for Kids is collecting all the books. To get involved, simply purchase a book while shopping at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Peoria’s Glen Hollow Shopping Center. Books for infants through 8 year-olds are ideal.

We’ll collect all the purchased books and distribute them to kids in need throughout our service area. Last year the book drive collected 1,289 books that were given to kids through such programs as Common Place, Valeska Hinton, Dream Catchers and the Boys & Girls Clubs.

The book drive runs through December 31.
