Dec. 9 – Host Jim Wilhelm leads us on a trip to Hartford to visit the Lewis and Clark State Historic Site,
a re-creation of the Corps of Discovery's first winter encampment and the starting point of the historic westward
expedition. We also visit the Weber House and Garden in Streator, the Ulysses S. Grant Home State Historic Site in
Galena, and the Joliet Area Historical Museum.
Dec. 23 – This program takes viewers to the Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site, to the Chicagoland Sports
Hall Of Fame, to the Museum of Geology at Western Illinois University - and on a fishing trip on Lake Clinton with Dan Vinovich.
Dec. 30 – Today on Illinois Adventure we’ll tour a most unconventional home whose design was inspired by Physical Culture,
visit the birthplace of one Illinois’s most popular generals, and tour refuges for those who sought freedom.
