Beatlemania Reigns with New Thanksgiving Weekend Lineup
Friday, November 18th, 2011
Central Illinois audiences can expect RAIN the weekend after Thanksgiving! WTVP-Public Television has just announced a late-breaking schedule change as RAIN: A Tribute to The Beatles is added to the line-up.
This incredible quartet of musicians looks like The Beatles, sounds like The Beatles, and is heralded as “The next best thing to seeing The Beatles!” by the Denver Post. All the music and vocals are performed totally live and even die-hard
fans will be transported by their spot-on performances. RAIN covers the Fab Four from their earliest beginnings on Ed Sullivan to Abbey Road and the psychedelic late 60s and their long-haired hippie, hard-rocking rooftop days. Sing along with your family and friends to favorites such as “Let It Be,” “Hey Jude,” “My Guitar Gently Weeps,” “Come Together” and “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
RAIN: A Tribute to The Beatles airs Saturday, November 26 at 8 p.m. on WTVP, with an encore performance Sunday, November 27 at 9:30 p.m. Tune in for great music, amazing performances and a special ticket opportunity to see the band live at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, IL, on Dec. 4.
