This special program looks at the life of Phil Weinberg, philosopher, innovator and founder of WTVP and Bradley University’s public radio station WCBU.
Host H Wayne Wilson talks with Dr. Tom Stewart, retired Bradley Professor of Engineering, Elwin Basquin, retired General Manager of WTVP and Dr. Jeffrey Huberman, current Dean of the Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts at Bradley. In addition to establishing both the Department of Engineering and the College of Communication and Fine Arts, Dr. Weinberg was responsible for an amazing number of accomplishments. He had the unique ability to blend technology and the arts, enriching the cultural and educational life of the community.
