WTVP elects new Chair, Officers and Trustees to the IVPTC Board

Peoria, IL — Joseph Strupek (left), Assistant Vice
President–Public Affairs at State Farm®, was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Illinois Valley
Public Telecommunications Corporation (IVPTC), the governing body of WTVP, Central Illinois' public television
station. Mr. Strupek succeeds Andrew Rand (right), President & CEO of Advanced Medical Transport who chaired IVPTC the
previous year.
Also elected to leadership positions for 2012-2013 were: Jon Burklund, President of Burklund
Distributing, Vice Chairman; Dr. Cynthia Fischer, Executive Director, Crittenton Centers, Secretary; Jerry
Kolb, CFO AMTCI, Treasurer; and Chet Tomczyk, President and CEO of WTVP. At Large Trustees to the Executive
Committee are: Wayne Baum, Chairman of CORE Construction; Nancy Levenick, community volunteer; and
P. Joseph O’Neill, President of G&D Integrated.
Three new trustees were also elected to the Board: Griffin Hammond, of Bloomington, Executive
Producer of of Indy Mogul for YouTube Next Lab; John Sanchez from Maui Jim, and Chuck Walker from CEFCU.
Illinois Valley Public Telecommunications Corporation (IVPTC) is the non-profit, community licensee of
public television station WTVP 47. Its volunteer Board of Trustees is comprised of elected individuals representing
viewers and educational and cultural institutions from communities throughout WTVP's 22-county coverage area.
