Illinois 46th District State Senatorial Candidate Debate
For the 11/06/2012 General Election
The State of Illinois Senate seat in the 46th district, currently held by Democrat Dave Koehler, is being contested. His opponent will be Republican Pat Sullivan, Peoria businessman and restaurant owner. WTVP will host a debate between these candidates on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m.
The debate will be broadcast live in the Peoria area on WTVP-TV 47.1 (check local cable and satellite listings) and WCBU-FM 89.9. The program will also stream live online and be archived at www.wtvp.org.
Moderator for the evening will be WTVP Public Affairs Consultant H Wayne Wilson. Panelists are Garry Moore of WEEK, anchor of News 25 Today and anchor/producer of News 25 Midday, and Chris Kaergard, political reporter for the Peoria Journal Star.
