Nature

Nature —a benchmark of natural history programs on television for the past 26 years—launches its 27th season in October. Airing on Sundays at 7 p.m., new programs will include:

“White Falcon, White Wolf,” a journey to Canada’s remote Ellesmere Island, where the race is on for two remarkable species to raise their families—Oct. 26.

“Clever Monkeys,” a look at how and what monkeys teach their young—and how much of our human experience they share—Nov. 9.

American Eagle,an intimate portrait of the noble birds and how—even in the best of times—it is a surprisingly tough struggle to raise chicks until they can hunt on their own—Nov. 16.

“The Wolf That Changed America,” a look at how a single, elusive, livestock-eating wolf could have a huge impact on American land conservation a century ago—Nov. 23.
