Congratulations to the 182 coolest kids in Central
Illinois! They each wrote and illustrated their very own books and
submitted them to the 12th annual WTVP READING RAINBOW Young Writers &
Illustrators Contest. WTVP thanks you for sharing your awesome stories
with us. And although it's a tough job to choose, we're
pleased to announce this year's local first-, second- and third-place
winners. They’ve already been treated to a party in the WTVP Studio with
their families and teachers, and you can look for them on-air, too. Every
entrant received a Certificate of Achievement signed by series host LeVar
Burton.
You all did a fantastic job and you're all winners
in our book!
Keep reading, keep writing and keep
sharing those
stories! And be sure to watch READING RAINBOW every
weekday at 2:30pm on WTVP!
