Congratulations to the
198 coolest kids in Central
Illinois! They each wrote and illustrated their very own books and
submitted them to the 13th annual WTVP READING RAINBOW Young Writers &
Illustrators Contest. WTVP thanks you for sharing your awesome stories
with us.And although it's a tough job to choose, we're
pleased to announce this year's local first-, second- and third-place
winners. The four first-place winners advanced to the national awards competition,
and all our local winners will be treated to a party in the WTVP Studio with
their families and teachers, and you can look for them on-air, too. Every
entrant received a Certificate of Achievement signed by series host LeVar
Burton.
You all did a fantastic job and you're all winners
in our book!
