With a commitment to enhance the culture of learning in our community, WTVP aired the championship round of this year’s Peoria Public Schools Scholars’ Cup Competition.
The half-hour competition—taped in the WTVP studio—consisted of “toss-up” and “bonus” questions based on the curricula, potpourri, current events, Illinois/Peoria facts, and this year’s literary selection.
“Scholars’ Cup competition provides sixth grade students the opportunity to compete in an academically challenging program,” Peoria District 150 officials noted. “Peoria Public School District 150 is proud to present this unique opportunity for our students, parents, and community.”
