AUCTION 2022 THANKS!
On behalf of WTVP, we want to express our deepest thanks to our donors, underwriters and volunteers for your participation in the 2022 WTVP Auction. Without your support, there would not be public television in Central Illinois. This year the WTVP Auction was an on-air, online hybrid with all proceeds going to further the quality programs, both national and local, that engage and inspire the people in Central Illinois.
The WTVP Auction is a key fundraising event that generates money we need to pay for programming on all five of our channels. The dollars generated from your donation will go a long way toward providing viewers with quality and diverse programming such as Masterpiece, Antiques Roadshow, Nature, Great Performances, NOVA, Rick Steves, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Curious George. The proceeds also help WTVP fund local programs like At Issue, Business Forward, Consider This and local documentaries such as Coping with Climate Change: An Illinois Perspective.
Thank you for your help in delivering these fabulous programs, series, events and activities that enhance and enrich lives in our community.
We appreciate everyone’s support and participation in this year’s auction. WTVP could not do it without you! We look forward to working with the community, businesses, donors and volunteers again next year.
