THE BASEBALL BOYS OF MON CITY

Through memories of surviving players and archival game footage, this film tells the poignant story of the Monongahela (a.k.a. "Mon City") All-Star Team, who won the Pennsylvania state championship and was headed to the Little League World Series in Williamsport. This momentous accomplishment would be marred by a tragedy that shocked the entire Little League community.

Examine and compare the financial and banking systems of the United States and Canada. The basis for both financial systems was laid by the revolutionary founding father, Alexander Hamilton. The film traces the history of both systems and features interviews with an impressive list of experts that includes a former prime minister, bank CEOs, academics and other business leaders.

KING OF CRIMES
THURSDAY, JULY 28, 10 PM

This cinematic stage play depicts an important chapter in U.S. history — the Aaron Burr treason trial in John Marshall's court. Just three years after the deadly Hamilton duel, President Thomas Jefferson had Burr charged with treason for plotting to carve out a kingdom for himself from parts of Louisiana and Mexico. The ensuing "Trial of the Century" in 1807 Richmond, VA, captivated a young nation and left a lasting legacy.
