On July 17, 2025, Congress voted to defund public media, leaving a $1 million gap in WTVP’s annual budget. Through We Believe in WTVP, the people of central Illinois responded, and 2500 donors gave new or additional gifts.  

WTVP is building on that momentum and building for the future with the Stronger Together campaign! Through your sustaining and additional gifts toward our $600,000 goal, we will not only weather another year without federal funding but also build sustainability for years to come.
