Taking Time to Remember
“There is nothing more American than PBS.” Paula Kerger, President and CEO of PBS, said those words recently – and I wholeheartedly agree. For over 50 years, WTVP PBS has uniquely connected Americans to America, ensuring that history has a captive audience. As you look through this month’s program guide, I anticipate that you’ll feel hope, pride and gratitude. No other media outlet is so committed to engaging citizens with our country’s history. This month we take time to remember and honor men and women in uniform, paying tribute to those who have given their lives for our country.
Watch WTVP PBS and meet Woody Williams, America’s last living WWII Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient; learn about the untold stories of The Women of World War II; be inspired by Bob Hope and his commitment to bring laughter and hope to soldiers serving on the front lines; and join millions of people across the country, for a night of remembrance with our National Memorial Day Concert brought to you LIVE from the West Lawn of the US Capitol.
It's content that connects and instills pride and hope in all Americans. And it’s only on WTVP PBS.
Thank you,
JENN
