Amy Tan: Unintended Memoir is an intimate portrait of the groundbreaking writer.

Octave Chanute: Patron Saint of Flight 
SUNDAY, MAY 9, 6 PM 

Learn about the life and important work that Octave Chanute accomplished throughout his life. Chanute capped off a successful career as one of the country's most important civil engineers with groundbreaking work in aviation. His experiments in the dunes of Northwest Indiana are known to be a turning point for aviation research, influencing notable flight pioneers such as Glenn Curtiss and the Wright Brothers. Chanute is buried in Peoria at Springdale Cemetery
