On this Memorial Day weekend, WTVP remembers and honors the courage and sacrifice of our military heroes, including two showings of the National Memorial Day Concert, a WTVP tradition.

NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT
SUNDAY, MAY 29, 7 AND 8:30 PM

For over 30 years, the National Memorial Day Concert has gathered Americans together to pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have given their lives for our country. This year’s broadcast features co-hosts Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna, actress Mary McCormack, conductor Jack Everly and the National Symphony Orchestra, and a host of musical guests. The concert honors the legacy of General Colin L. Powell, pays tribute to those who lost their lives in Vietnam, and memorializes soldiers who died in recent conflicts.
