The Roadshow visits a town known as "Hotlanta," where the Little Five Points District boasts not one but two great record stores. Eric Levin, co-founder of Record Store Day welcomes us to CRIMINAL RECORDS--who got their name from stealing hearts--and then goes a few doors down to the amazing WAX N' FACTS--a Crate Diggers Delight with a history that includes the B-52's and other New Wave bands. We also hit the west side of Atlanta to JB's RECORD LOUNGE, a store intimately acquainted with the burgeoning Hip Hop scene of Atlanta.
Nashville, the place known as Music City, is far more than just the commercial center of modern country music. A home for many traditional and emerging genres, we visit the outstanding store Grimey's, as well as Vinyl Tap, an up-and-coming contender that serves up a well-curated vinyl collection as well as live performances in a combination record store and hospitable bar. We'll have our cameras on everything, including a surprise indie record store basement performance with the world-renowned Metallica, as well as a heartwarming story of when the one and only Taylor Swift jumped in to save her favorite indie record during the pandemic.
