Hope is a powerful thing. It stirs us to let go of the past, to look beyond our present and to work towards a brighter tomorrow. Though the season of gift-giving is past, I believe that 2026 holds a host of wonderful “gifts” for us to unwrap and enjoy. Each day we can welcome opportunities to learn new things, to connect with one another and to help our communities grow to be more vibrant, more compassionate and more creative in how we solve problems and work together.   

The New Year is also cause for celebration! And how do we celebrate at WTVP? By bringing you brand new seasons of your PBS favorites of course! Miss Scarlet and All Creatures Great and Small are back with delightfully entertaining episodes to warm up even the bleakest of mid-winter days. We’ll also keep you connected with the best locally-produced content with all new episodes of Vibe 309 with Blake Wirth, You Gotta See This!,Docs on Call, A Shot of Ag, At Issue with Mark Welp, Consider This and more!   

The celebration will continue throughout 2026 as we look forward to honoring our recently announced 40 Leaders Under Forty honorees in March and by bringing you even more local stories through new shows produced by WTVP.
