The Bread Monk is back!
We are thrilled to bring back Father Dominic Garramone, aka The Bread Monk to WTVP for one night only! Father Dominic is a monk from Saint Bede Abbey in Peru, Illinois and hosted a baking show seen on WTVP from 1999 to 2001.
On December 5th at 7 p.m., we will show the Breakfast with the Bread Monk episode and Father Dominic will join us in the studio! Julie Sanders and Mark Welp will sit down with the prolific cookbook author and talk about his favorite recipes, how he got into baking and more.
Father Dominic will share his recipes for classics like blueberry scones, buttermilk biscuits, and English muffin bread. Plus, we’ll tell you how you can get the Bread Monk’s cookbook Baking Secrets from the Bread Monk and support WTVP at the same time!
