Lexi Kaiser | Edwards, Illinois
Funeral Prearrangement Specialist

Ranked top three in the nation, Lexi Kaiser is a licensed funeral preplanning specialist with extensive experience serving funeral homes across Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Her innovative techniques and personalized approach to funeral preplanning have garnered the trust of thousands of families and affected change for the training of new agents in the field.
As Kaiser leads her field in new techniques and training, she notes that “A great leader is humble, decisive and recognizes that it takes a team to achieve success…I have a quote on my desk that reminds me: ‘It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.’”
Since graduating from Illinois State University with a teaching degree, Lexi has excelled as an educator teaching Public Speaking and Art at Illinois Central College’s summer programs. She instructed dance and fitness at local gyms and at the University of Wisconsin, also coaching speech and dance to help kids achieve success.

A winner of Dancing with the Local Stars in 2021 and an event judge for the past several years, Lexi also shares her talent by serving local community theater as a director and choreographer. “‘Will it play in Peoria’ is not just a quote, but it represents the abundance of performing arts and quality of Peoria’s theatrical performances.”
A Highlight of Central Illinois:
“One of my favorite aspects is participating in the Dancing with the Local Stars event, which is undoubtedly a highlight of central Illinois…Local celebrities and dedicated volunteers spend months preparing memorable performances. Their efforts culminate in a spectacular event at the Par-A-Dice…to raise vital funds for CASA.”
Kaiser has also been an advocate for children in foster care through CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) since 2018 and a prior foster host family.
Married to John and mother to three sons (Henry, Addison, and Bradley), Lexi prioritizes family and manages to balance professional success, creative passion, and opportunities to serve others. “The challenge of being a mother and working is a complex experience. The internal conflict of competing priorities can lead to feelings of inadequacy. I have learned to cherish the small things and embrace the idea that I will never be perfect at it all. Working around death daily certainly puts things into perspective.”

Words of Wisdom:
“Take care of yourself…Build habits now…It is much easier to start those habits in your 20s than to try to begin a health journey later in life. Sunscreen and water.”
