Gina Seghetti | Peoria, IL
Advisor - Area Development | St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – ALSAC

Driven by opportunities to transform lives, Gina Seghetti is an Advisor – Area Development at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She leads the execution of several high-profile events, including the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run and the Evening with the Stars Gala, consistently surpassing fundraising goals while maintaining one of the most efficient cost ratios in the region. This success has garnered national attention. “Gina and her team were selected from more than 30 teams nationwide as the 2025 ALSAC Staff Partner of the Year for the national Dinner/Gala/Golf program,” notes Corinne Olson. “In 2024, she was named ALSAC’s national Staff Representative of the Year. Her leadership is recognized, respected and far-reaching.”

For Gina, her work with St. Jude is more than a career. As a child, she had imagined herself working in sports management. “However, after my freshman year of college, an internship with the Peoria ALSAC/St. Jude team completely changed my perspective. That experience opened my eyes to the power of mission-driven work and the profound impact it can have on our community. From that moment on, I knew I had found the path I wanted to follow.”
Gina also guides others along that same path. She mentors new employees through ALSAC’s attaché program, helping onboard and support staff across the country, and is frequently called upon to advise colleagues nationwide. She is passionate about involving young people in the mission of St. Jude, hosting an event with the Peoria Notre Dame St. Jude Club and mentoring a group of children whose lemonade stand, “Kickin’ Cancer in the Knolls,” raised over $55,000.

“Progress over perfection.”
Gina’s commitment to transformation extends beyond the office walls. She currently serves as the Treasurer Elect of the Junior League of Peoria and is proud to be part of Women in Leadership of Central Illinois. She has supported Heart of Illinois Big Brothers Big Sisters as both a mentor and Leadership Council Member. A proud graduate of the 2021 Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School, she now serves on the planning committee.
In spite of her full schedule, Gina makes time for her family tradition of meeting up at Agatucci’s several times a month. She draws strength and inspiration from her parents who taught her the importance of hard work, integrity and kindness. Gina is also a proud aunt to her two goddaughters, Marian and Harper.
“My work means their future—a future where no child dies in the dawn of life.”
An avid sports fan, Gina cheers for the University of Notre Dame football and the University of Illinois basketball. She also loves traveling, taking classes at Jacaranda and exploring Peoria Heights.
