2022 ROUNDO | Benefiting WTVP

WTVP INVITES YOU TO THE 2022 ROUNDO

Whether you fell in love with torque and horsepower or grace and style — or you simply have a passion for performance — you know that automobiles are more than practical transportation. Join us at WTVP’s 2022 Roundo and indulge your automotive passion with family and friends in a unique rally, a clued tour and car show. All proceeds benefit educational resources and programming on WTVP, Central Illinois’ home for public television.

This year we have two great ways to participate in the Roundo: A clued tour and a car show.

Clued Tour | Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:30 AM

  • Rain date, Sunday, June 5, 11:30 AM
  • Minimum donation: $100 per vehicle (covers lunch, tour and car show)

Begin your journey with lunch for you and your copilot. Special guest John Davis, long-time host of the hit PBS program, Motorweek, will be on hand for registration, orientation and the tour send-off. At registration, you will receive instructions for your adventure, then hit the road with your four-wheeled pride and joy on an exclusive clued tour across the WTVP viewing area. Along the route, you will visit many interesting places and meet interesting people, ending with a display of rare cars inside the WTVP studio and a large car show outside. For tour participants, sponsored trophies will be awarded in many categories. Special car show parking will be available.

Car Show | Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:30 PM

  • Rain date: Sunday, June 5, 2:30 PM
  • Minimum donation: $10 per vehicle (car show only)

Bring your car down to the WTVP parking lot and join the fun. Reacquaint yourselves with old friends, take pictures of great cars, make new friends who share your interests, meet the people who drive that car and introduce your family to other car enthusiasts. Vintage cars and engines built for speed will be on display. They’re sure to please Central Illinois' most diehard gearheads. Cars will gather in designated areas around WTVP, 101 State Street, Peoria, Illinois 61602. Trophies will be awarded in many categories.
