Five years ago an old tradition returned to the area...

A "roast" of a local notable to benefit a charity of his or her choosing. Ray LaHood, John Bearce, Rex Linder and Mike McCoy were great sports through all the ribbing, and we supported some amazing local charities along the way.

This year, another long-time resident has graciously agreed to be “roasted”... Lesley Matuszak. Active in both her professional field and our community, Lesley has always held a special place in her heart for children. This year, proceeds from the ExMayor’s Roast will benefit WTVP’s Mission for Children. The organization is bringing the power of media into the classroom…tutoring, mentoring and opening worlds of possibilities for all children.
