A GIFT TO THE WTVP ENDOWMENT IS A PROMISE TO THE FUTURE

WTVP has been at the heart of daily life in Central Illinois for 50 years. As the years have marched on, the station has grown from black and white broadcasts of instructional programs in 1971, to a five-channel digital broadcasting service reaching 20 counties with daily children’s programming, drama, science, culture, the arts and news. That growth is the direct result of visionaries who understand the important role WTVP plays in the community.

You can help ensure this vital public service continues for future generations with an end-of-year gift to the WTVP Endowment Fund. When you give now, you’re making a promise to future generations that outstanding educational media will always be available. The Endowment Fund helps WTVP continue to prepare children for school success, enlighten and inspire viewers of all ages and promote civic engagement. Our communities are stronger and more self-aware with WTVP.

The recent acquisition of Peoria Magazine is an excellent example of how WTVP can fund growth and stay relevant, not with general membership funds, but rather with timely, visionary gifts focused on long-term community impact.

Please contact Lesley Matuszak at 309.453.0405 or any member of the board of directors to discuss how you can make an end-of-year commitment to the WTVP Endowment Fund. The future of WTVP is bright — especially when you do your part to preserve the legacy of public television. Thank you from the entire WTVP family.
