WTVP has been at the heart of daily life in Central Illinois for 50 years. As the years have marched on, the station has grown from black and white broadcasts of instructional programs in 1971, to a five-channel digital broadcasting service reaching 20 counties with daily children’s programming, drama, science, culture, the arts and news. That growth is the direct result of visionaries who understand the important role WTVP plays in the community.

You can help ensure this vital public service continues for future generations with an end-of-year gift to the WTVP Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund helps WTVP continue to prepare children for school success, enlighten and inspire viewers of all ages and promote civic engagement.
