Austin City Limits

Great music. No limits. Now the longest-running music series in American television history, ACL showcases popular music legends and innovators from every genre. Filmed onsite at the historic Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro George Stelluto, performs a stunning concert anchored by Antonio Vivaldi's iconic "Le Quattro Stagioni" (The Four Seasons), with guest violinist Rong-Yan Tang. Works by J.S. Bach, Maddalena Casulana and Tomaso Albioni round out the program featuring flutist Justina Chu and Sarah Car-rillo, trumpet. This production is made possible with the generous support of Sid & Flo Banwart.

JOHN NEUMEIER: A CREATIVE LIFE focuses on one of the most enduring and impactful ballet artists of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Through Hamburg Ballet performances, conversations with leading dancers, colleagues and collaborators, and in-depth interviews with Neumeier himself, the film showcases his final season for the Hamburg Ballet as he prepares to hand control to a new generation. The film explores the life of this remarkable artist, from his Milwaukee upbringing and discovery of dance, to his late entry into the Royal Ballet School and early choreographic success that landed him a job as the director of Frankfurt Ballet at age 29.

Wes Montgomery: A Celebration Concert

Celebrate one of the greatest and most influential jazz guitarists of all time in a new concert special. WES MONTGOMERY: A CELEBRATION CONCERT honors the centennial of the Hoosier-born artist whose guitar sounds defined a generation of jazz music and left a lasting global musical legacy. During his career, Montgomery won two Grammy Awards and was named "Jazz Man of the Year" by Record World in 1967. He played alongside many of the greatest names in music, including Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, Quincy Jones and fellow Hoosier Freddie Hubbard. His sound is defined by the iconic way he would play his guitar using the direct touch of his thumb on the strings, producing a softer, more melodic tone. Recorded before a live audience in the WTIU studio, the concert features the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Associate Professor Brent Wallarab and a performance by the celebrated jazz trio of guitarist Dave Stryker, organist Bobby Floyd and drummer Sean Dobbins.
