This Holiday, Give the Gift of WTVP Passport | December 2021

Recently, my wife and I gathered a group around our media center for movie night. As with any large group there was, of course, someone running late. During the delay I called up WTVP Passport and played an episode of Impossible Builds that I had missed.
While I liked the program, I got more enjoyment from the reactions of our assembled friends. There were exclamations of “that is amazing,” “how did they do that,” and “what were they thinking?” Afterward, I played a couple of pieces from past Sound Bites episodes that elicited more astonished comments.
These people knew of those programs but had never experienced them. When they did, the content captured their attention. I think a lot of people have heard of and can even name some of the programs WTVP offers but haven’t experienced them.
I suggest offering a one-year subscription to WTVP Passport to a non-member as a gift this holiday season. On the streaming service they will find outstanding national and local programs and features original to Passport. Just like my guests I believe your gift recipient will be enthralled with the rich variety they find. They might even continue their membership when the gift subscription ends.
