Robot Town

What do you get when you take high school students, seasoned engineers, robots, and a six week competition deadline? A huge adrenaline rush!

In the winter/spring of 2006, Caterpillar Inc. - a worldwide supplier of technology and heavy machinery - sponsored two teams for the Internatonal F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition, founded by inventor Dean Kamen. This is their story...

Re-live the excitement as the teams design and build their robots, travel from Peoria, Illinois, to the regional competition in Chicago, then journey to Atlanta, Georgia, for the national competition.
